We welcome you to the biggest classical and contemporary dance event. The B.C.C. Festival (Balkan Classic Contemporary Festival), is organized for the fifth consecutive year in Thessaloniki.
It is addressed to all dancers, of all ages, from all over the Balkans and despite its few years of existence, it has already become an institution.
In B.C.C. Festival There will be a series of seminars aimed at all dancers, amateurs and professionals, and will be held during the days before and after the festival.
It will take place in Thessaloniki
on May 23 and 24, 2026,
at the Lazaristes Monastery Theater.
World-renowned dancers and choreographers are invited to evaluate and rate the participants.
Dancers who receive top scores earn scholarships to continue their studies at the schools they attend.
Each dancer or dance group will compete and be graded, not competitively with others but according to the score they accumulate. In this way competition is avoided, which is not consistent with the spirit of creation and culture, as expressed through classical dance.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Seminars take place at the same time as the competitive part. When the ballet categories compete, the contemporary seminars take part,
and conversely, when the contemporary is contested, the ballet seminars take part.
Dancers or dance groups scoring 90% and above will be awarded a gold medal. Those scoring 80-89% will be awarded a silver medal and those scoring 70-79% will be awarded a bronze medal.
The innovation that will be implemented for the second year at BCCFest 26, is that the highest scores of the competition will be displayed and rotated on the scoreboard, so that we know the winner or winners of the major scholarships throughout the competition,creating a healthy competition, since each dancer or dance group will have a reason and a clear motivation to perform as well as possible according to the requirements of the category they are competing in, with the aim of getting a high score and therefore a place among the best choreographies of the day to which financial scholarships will be given by the organization..
Of course there will be another classification for ballet and another for contemporary..
In case that a student is expelled or suspended from the faculty with which he participated in the B.C.C.Fest 2026, the scholarship will cancel. Our goal is to reward both talented dancers and their instructors.
In case of a tie, the gold medal will be awarded to all winners, but a final round will follow, where the judges will decide who should be awarded the category scholarship.
In any other case, the scholarships awarded by the organization are awarded to the dancers or dance groups with the highest score.
In case that that a dancer or dance group, over 18 years old or participates independently, without representing a school, then the corresponding amount of the voucher will be given to the person or group, by depositing into a bank account.
In addition to the scholarships to be awarded by the B.C.C. Festival, scholarships will be awarded in cooperation with the judges.
These scholarships are awarded independently of the score at the sole discretion of the judges.
PARTICIPATION
The participation cost, for the first time, depends on the date of Registration.
The earliest declaration of participation is encouraged in this way and this helps us in our better organization

To be valid, the declaration of participation must be accompanied by a copy of its deposit
bank account with the amount of the participation and sending proof of payment to

The process must be done as a group by the head of the school or group and in no case individually
Individual entries will be considered as independent entries and in the case of a minor dancer will mean exclusion from the prize money.
Also, check-in will be completed per participation in a special format after the bank deposit and the corresponding comparison.
Participation in B.C.C.Fest automatically implies an agreement for video recording and publication of footage of the Festival.
Money paid is not refundable except in cases of an emergency serious health problem which will be proven by a certificate from a public hospital.

Tickets can be purchased from the theater box office during the days of the competition,
as well as through pre-sale through the dance schools.
Tickets for each day are divided into zones.
For each day there will be ZONE A - morning, ZONE B - afternoon.

IMPORTANT!!
Each participant will be able to attend a seminar of their choice with a minimum charge of 15€.
The seminars last 90 minutes.
Each subsequent seminar will cost 40€
Those who are entitled to Free Seminars, which they won from their participation in B.C.C.Fest 2025,
will be able to attend the 1st seminar of their choice for free.
Every second one will be attended for the price of 15€ while each subsequent one will be at the price of 40€
SEMINARS
Seminars will be organized by the judges as part of the festival.

The duration of the seminar will be 90 minutes and the cost will be €15 for the first seminar and €40 for each subsequent one.
